SCGA Junior Tournament Series
SCGA Junior is excited to offer a revamped tournament series for 2023! We will launching the SCGA Junior Silver Tour and SCGA Junior Gold Tour to provide competitive golf opportunities to juniors of differing skill levels.
SCGA Junior Silver Tour
The SCGA Junior Silver Tour is designed to provide junior golfers a first foray into the tournament golf scene. These events will be held on a monthly basis at different Par-3 and Executive golf courses.
Who is Eligible: Juniors aged 8-18 that are Level 4-6 in the SCGA Junior PYD program. Juniors under the age of 12 that have reached Level 7 will also be eligible for these events. SCGA Junior instructor recommendations will also be considered for the Silver Tour
SCGA Junior Gold Tour
The SCGA Junior Gold Tour is designed to provide junior golfers additional competitive tournament golf opportunties. Gold Tour events will consist of 18 and 36 hole events that will teach golfers what it takes to compete at the elite junior golf and collegiate levels.
Who is Eligible: Juniors aged 12-18 that have reached Level 7 of the SCGA Junior PYD program. SCGA Junior instructor recommendations will also be considered for the Gold Tour
Registration
Currently, registration for SCGA Junior tournaments are sent via email to those that meet the eligibility criteria listed above. If you believe that your junior is eligible for Silver or Gold Tour events and is not receiving email notifications regarding registration information for events, please email Ryan Kyaw (rkyaw@scga.org).
Volunteers
SCGA Junior is looking for volunteer help to enhance the tournament experience. If you or someone that you know would be interested in volunteering at our tournaments, please contact Ryan Kyaw (rkyaw@scga.org)
